Reason for choosing Plattsburgh?
Kristin chose Plattsburgh because it was close to home and it would save a lot of money to stay in plattsburgh to study.

Started playing softball when?

Kristin started playing first base in 7th grade at age 13. In 9th grade, age 15, Kristin started pitching. She played for the Northern Devils for 4 years and the Adirondack Avalanche for 1 year winning a 40 team tournament in 10th grade. Kristin was first team all-star in section 7. In 11th and 12th grade Kristin was pitcher of the year for section 7 at Plattsburgh High.

Other sports played before?

Swimming, volleyball, soccer

Favorite professional sports/teams?
Montreal Canadiens (Hockey) Minnesota Twins (Baseball)

Something you're proud of and WHY?

Other hobbies you enjoy?
Skiing, reading, and baking

Favorite Food?
Turkey

Favorite community service experience and WHY?
Kristin's favorite community service event was reading to the children while we were at the world series last year. She loved it because she loves kids. It made the students' day to be able to ask us questions and I enjoyed reading stories to them.

Favorite moment so far while being apart of the Plattsburgh State Softball Team and WHY?
Winning SUNYACS and regionals to move on to the world series last year. This was Kristin's favorite because the players worked hard as a team to win the important games and strive to be the best they could be together.

Goals set while at Plattsburgh ?
Kristin's goal while at Plattsburgh is to be on the dean's list.

Plans after college?
Kristin is definitely going on to grad school, she just hasn't decided what she will study yet. She is thinking about pharmacy at the moment but this could change as she gets deeper into her major.
